Broken Things

Simone Tower, a feisty engineer and business owner, is contracted to evaluate some unusual metallic objects--hull fragments from an alien spaceship--recovered from Saturn orbit. It would have been a great gig if it weren't for the corrupt government officials and the attentions of her manipulative ex-boyfriend. Both groups want to steal the fragments and blame Simone, an outsider, for the loss. Simone would have been the perfect patsy except for one thing. The fragments have their own agenda.
