Ten Years Asleep

Ever wished you could wind the clock back, do something slightly differently, avoid the inexorable chain of events that led to where you are right now?

This anthology gives 10 authors the opportunity to do just this on a global scale, and from the point-of-view of the Year 2022. Each author has been commissioned to imagine a society, one decade from now, in some state of disrepair, decline or downright collapse, and to posit what might have caused this; what action (or lack of action) ten years before could have brought it about. Part dystopia, part historical game playing, these stories are each of them responses to well-argued academic theories the findings of comparative history.
