Ramas y Raices

In this inaugural anthology, CALMA—the Colorado Alliance of Latino Mentors and Authors—presents an illuminating collection of poems, short fiction, and essays, offering a compelling slice of Chicano history, one part of our contribution to literatura latina. Twenty-four contributors share evocative impressions encompassing the breadth of universal romantic love; the importance of family; duty; frustration and triumph; the search for self; and the never-ending struggle for justice. This is an effort of inspiration filtered through lived experience and fantasy, and brought forth through hard work and devotion. Prepare yourself un pan dulce y cafecito and step into the enchantment of Ramas y Raí The Best of CALMA .
